NAVARO operates the NAVARO Driver App — a professional-grade mobile application used by approved transport partners and drivers to receive, manage, and complete passenger bookings in real time.

2Scope
This policy applies exclusively to personal data processed through the NAVARO Driver App. It does not cover privacy practices for NAVARO's public website or customer-facing booking platform.
3Data We Collect
The following categories of data may be collected during app use:
Identity & account
Name, login credentials, role, company affiliation.
Booking data
Trip assignments, ride details, customer contact info for assigned bookings.
Location data
Precise GPS location while the driver is online and the app is active (see Section 5).
Communications
In-app messages and support conversations.
Device & technical
App version, device type, push notification token, diagnostics, IP address, log events.
Operational status
Online/offline status, assigned rides, route progress.

5Location Data
📍 Location is only collected when you are Online
The app collects your precise GPS location only while you are marked as Online inside the app. When you go Offline, location sharing stops immediately. The app does not collect location data when the app is closed or when you are in Offline status.
Location data is used exclusively for core service functions:
- →Live trip tracking and dispatch coordination.
- →ETA and route progress updates for passengers.
- →Helping customers identify their driver at the pickup point.
- →Operational safety, quality control, and incident support.
While you are Online, live location may be shared with the assigned customer and NAVARO operations staff to support pickup and trip execution. You can stop this at any time by going Offline. You can also manage location permissions in your device settings.
6Legal Bases (GDPR)
We process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract
Processing necessary to fulfil ride assignments and service obligations.
Legitimate interests
Service reliability, fraud prevention, and operational safety.
Legal obligations
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Consent
Where specifically required by law, for example for certain notification types.
8International Transfers
Where data is processed outside your country, we apply appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law, including standard contractual clauses and equivalent protections where relevant.
9Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for service delivery, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legitimate business operations. Retention periods vary by data category and applicable legal requirement. Location ping data is retained for a limited operational window and is not stored indefinitely.
10Security
We use technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. All data in transit is encrypted. Access to driver data is restricted to authorized NAVARO personnel on a need-to-know basis.
11Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

12Children
The NAVARO Driver App is intended solely for professional use by approved drivers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
